NCAA Regionals: Auburn & Clemson Will Meet Again

It looked like the Clemson Tigers were in good position to win Sunday’s game against its host Auburn University.  Well, the Tigers won, but Clemson did not seal their spot in the Super Regionals.  Instead, a fourth inning grand slam by Hunter Morris shifted the momentum and ultimately led the Auburn Tigers to an 11-10 victory.

Morris made history with that grand slam as well, racking up 23 homers this season – an Auburn University record.

Both Morris and Kyle Parker are likely to be drafted in tonight’s MLB Draft.  However, they’re probably going to be on the field playing each other for the chance to continue their respective seasons when the draft goes underway.  The teams face off at 7PM EST.
